After an extensive search and unbelievable frustration I finally managed to join a group through Yahoo which was very simple and easy to use. Prior to that I found other newsgroup sites very complicated and of absolutely no interest to me.
I joined a group about Lisa Marie Presley as I am a big fan of her fathers and since I saw her live, Lisa herself. I sent a post introducing myself and have cut and pasted it here.
